The Nets for the month of August has been updated on the Upcoming Events page. Please check the page to see if you are a Net for the month of August, and please welcome our new RACES member Deanna, and Michael’s new wife to our little group. I would like to repost this from and email that was sent out by Michael as a reminder to everyone.
ID Cards: Ok, here is the rule regarding ID Cards. Each member of the RACES team is entitled to one ID card. The only members of the team to have activated ID Cards are the RACES Officer and the three Assistant RACES Officers. The ID cards that team members have are to get you access within the City, but they are NOT activated to get you into the RACES room. Team members that would like to have access to the RACES room must set that time up with the RACES Officer or one of the three Assistant RACES Officers.
Next meeting: The next regular meeting of the Coral Gables ARES/RACES team will be Saturday, August 18th at 10:00 a.m. in the basement meeting room of the Coral Gables Police Station. Of course, as everyone is aware, we will be in the heart of hurricane season, so activations will occur on an as needed basis according to the Adminstrative Team of Coral Gables RACES.
