ARES/ARRL Membership
- Meeting with Jeff Beals, Southern Florida Section Manager and David Wagner, Gold Coast District Emergency Manager· Felipe, David, and Michael met with them on March 10th in Ft. Lauderdale
- Michael and David are Assistant Emergency Communication Coordinators for the County
Invitation for Jeff Beals/David Wagner to attend future meeting

Miami Marathon Followup
- Weather – must be prepared to work in adverse weather conditions
- Preparation for different settings – may not be able to have car nearby

- Station Callsign – New callsign is K4CGR. Michael will be license trustee.
- Testing Discussion
- Want to have a VE testing team within RACES team.
- Michael is stocked VE. Need more people with ARRL VE credentials
- Administration of Team: David Fernandez new Assistant RACES Officer. He replaces Arturo Valdes-Fauli. Art will continue as a member of the team. Thank you to both members for all of their work and dedication.

- All Coral Gables ARES/RACES team Officers now have IS 100, 200, 700, and 800 completed. Congratulations!
- All Active Members of the Coral Gables ARES/RACES team must have IS 100 and 700 completed. IS 200 and 800 are optional, but are highly encouraged.
- When you receive your certificate, please make copy and give to Michael for placement in your file.
- Members may take as many of the online FEMA courses as they wish beyond the required ones for membership. All of the courses are free and easily reached through the above website addresses.
